Pyze Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how personal information is collected and used by Pyze Inc (“Pyze”, “Us”, “We”) and the Pyze® Growth Intelligence® Platform (“Platform”, “Services”, “Software”).
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information provided to us by customers such as their name, email address, postal address, phone number, company name, credit card payment information and demographics. We may also obtain information from other sources such as cookies or third party databases and combine it with information we collect.
We may collect non-personally identifiable information regarding the behavior and usage patterns of users of mobile applications (“End Users”) published by our customers. Use of our Platform does not require collection of personally identifiable information. Our customers may request such information from End Users and such personally identifiable information may be included in the data sent to us. End Users should therefore review the privacy policies of the mobile applications they use to assess the security of any personally identifiable information they disclose.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We primarily use the information we collect to improve our Platform, develop new services and products that benefit our customers and enhance the user experience of our customers and their End Users. Key ways in which we use information include:
- Improve our Platform, Services and how we operate our business;
- Understand and enhance your experience using our Platform and Services;
- Share aggregated or anonymized information for market research purposes and/or to develop or deliver new products and services;
- Respond to customer requests or send related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
- Communicate with customers about promotions, upcoming events and news about products and services offered by Pyze and our selected partners;
- Protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized or illegal activity.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION, SHARING, & RESTRICTION
Rights of User Data Access, Erasure and Restriction
Pyze is a service provider that processes data on behalf of its Customers, any requests relating to European Users’ exercise of their rights of access, rectification, erasure, or restriction under the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) must be provided to Pyze by a Customer. Customers can notify Pyze of these requests at support@pyze.com.
Pyze supports functionality to allow Customers to respect granular controls regarding User data privacy rights. Customers can flag in the Pyze SDK that a particular User has requested that their data not be processed by Pyze, in which case Pyze will no longer process engagement data on behalf of the User for that User. Pyze also provides functionality in the Pyze SDK that can enable a particular User to request that their data be forgotten from Pyze, which case Pyze will disassociate any data collected from that User and cease data collection. Legal Requests and Comply with State and Federal Laws
We may release personally identifiable information and/or non-personally-identifiable information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant. We may also release this information to enforce our Service Terms, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of Pyze.
In the Event of a Business Deal, Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy We may share information we have collected in the process of a business deal (or negotiation of a business deal) involving sale or transfer of all or a part of our business or assets (business deals may include, for example, any merger, financing, acquisition, divestiture or bankruptcy transaction or proceeding). Pyze takes reasonable steps to help protect personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. It is the customer’s responsibility to protect user names and passwords to help prevent anyone from accessing or abusing accounts and services. The Pyze Platform is hosted in the United States. By accessing our Services from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through continued use of the Pyze Platform & Services, which are governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy, and the Pyze Service Terms, personal information is being transferred to the United States with customer consent.
User Communication Preferences
If you receive commercial e-mail from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the e-mail. You may also opt-out from receiving commercial e-mail from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time (e.g., by postal mail) by sending your request to us by e-mail at support@pyze.com. Additionally, we may allow you to view and modify settings relating to the nature and frequency of promotional communications that you receive from us.
CHILDREN
Pyze and its services are not intended for children. We require that Customers agree to either not send to us data relating to any children under 13 (or, in certain jurisdictions, under 16), unless they obtain all parental consents necessary under applicable law for the collection of data from any such children prior to sending any data relating to such children to Pyze. If you are a Customers and want to learn more about Pyze SDK features that you can use in your compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR, or any other applicable law, please contact support@pyze.com.
SAFE HARBOR STATEMENT
Pyze complies with the U.S. – E.U. Safe Harbor framework and the U.S. – Swiss Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Pyze adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement.
In compliance with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Principles, Pyze commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your Personal Data. Persons located in the European Union and Switzerland who have inquiries or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy should first contact us at support@pyze.com.
UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may occasionally update this Policy. When we do, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the beginning of the Policy. Your continued use of our Service after such changes will be subject to the then-current policy. If we change this Policy in a manner that is materially less restrictive of our use or disclosure of your Personal Information, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the change and to obtain your consent prior to applying the change to any Personal Information.
